The Hills are alive lawds

Hey Nomad,
The creative juices were flowing around the hall so they were, as 10 of St Wolstans art students got on their hands and knees to paint the fab backdrop for the St Wolstans production of "The Sound Of Music". We spent all day, yes 8 hours, painting mountains, sunsets, hills and flowers, bless. The day was also spent with my fav person seeerah, as our love was reunited after her two week work expo with the Gardaí, hon the skelly, whos birthday is also taking place this thursday, happy birthday sugga! The whole schools ecstatic for the musical and everyones put in so much effort. Good luck to everyone taking part, you'll all do a great job xo

Working nine to five, what a way to make a living

Hey Nomad,
Last week all of Ty went on work experience. I went to an advertising agency called Cawley Nea tbwa in Rathmines. First taste of freedom and instead of classrooms we were up every morning to find our own way to work.Throughout the week, I got to listen in on meetings with companies such as  MiWadi and a chariety event, and yes, McDonalds, nom. I also got to go to a Bord Na Mona tv shoot on Thursday and got to see the making of a tv ad and munch out in a bus full of food, and adults complain about work..
Work experience was one of the best parts of Ty so far and the agency gave me an insight into future jobs. I met so many new people and got to sit at my own desk each day while chatting to crickers at lunch, virtual banter for the win lads!
Over and out, Slán
