' The Podfather '

Hey Nomad,
A major part of transition year is the annual mini company competition where students form groups within their class to build a mini company. My group have chosen to do ipod covers, but also have a dent around the edges to hold your headphones and also a clear slot so customers can insert one of our designs or their own photos. With regular meetings taking place, the eight of us sat around my kitchen table last night to eat, no surprise and to choose a name and slogan for our product and slimmed the choices down to; "mod pod", "the podfather" and also "my pod" with pur slogan "We've got you covered", any more suggestions, please comment bloggers!

Mr. Drew, what a man!

Hola Nomad
This week in religion we watched a show called Educating Essex which was a show about bullying. The english school was out of control to say the least and their principal Mr Drew had to cope with alot. When Gabby became headgirl, her 'friends' started to mistreat her and she began recieving annomyous texts which threatened her. Also Sam began bullying a lad that used to be his friend. Throughout the show we learned how bullying effects the students of your school and also the risks of a criminal record can be involved if you begin to bully someone. Basically we learned that we should just bake cakes of rainbows and smiles and we can all eat it and be friends and happy.

But we didnt..

Hey Nomad,
Unfortunatly us Fodlians didn't win the fun walk *tear*. Blaring absolutely everybody we set out as a handmade mini cooper, giving it socks with our cheesy dancemoves and teenage girls flying in the air. The prize went to Banba who dressed as builders and helped save Mr Lawlor dressed as a girl, awks, with their catchy tunes, Well donee lads :) Us tys were given the job to manage the traffic and get everyone safely across the road, after the job was done we had the chats and munched away on the bag of food donated by Mr H, what a man. The day was greaat and our loss will still be celebrated with our tutor Mrs O'C,along with plenty of food, NOM.
